History

Lebanon Cardiology Associates, PC was founded in 1988 by Thomas M. Clemens MD, President, Ronald G. Boogaard MD, Vice President and Paul R. DiGiacomo MD, Retired. Their mutual goal was to fill the need in the community to deliver specialized cardiovascular care to Lebanon and the surrounding counties.

As years went by many physicians and physician extenders joined the practice to enhance and expand the services that are provided today. You can see a complete listing under “Physicians” and “Retired Physicians”. They have all played a significant role in the success of Lebanon Cardiology.

Our Clinical Director, Susan Middleton, RN, has been with us since the inception of the group in 1988. Our Office Administrator, Linda Ehrenfeld, joined us in April of 1997 and was promoted to Practice Administrator in April of 2007.

Our staff has grown to over 80 employees that have the same goals and mission as Lebanon Cardiology. We provide compassion and dignity, quality health care, service excellence for our patients, their families and our colleagues, teamwork and trust.

For 11 years Lebanon Cardiology was located in the Good Samaritan Hospital. To better serve the needs of our patients, we moved to 775 Norman Drive in October 2000. Our office is now State-of-the-Art and we are paperless since going to electronic medical records in 2004.

LCA has become a Nationally Accredited Outpatient Nuclear Stress Testing, Echocardiography, and Vascular Diagnostic Imaging Center. We offer EECP as an alternative therapy for patients with Angina. Complete pacemaker and defibrillator management post implant. Our Interventional Cardiologists provide Coronary and Peripheral Cardiac Catheterization, Balloon Angioplasty, and Stents. We have recently expanded our services to include Electrophysiology (Heart Rhythm Specialist) in July 2008. This includes pacemaker implants, defibrillator implants, and ablations for abnormal heart rhythms.
